ABC Alumni and ABC Friends are continuing their joint campaign to influence the May budget in favour of the ABC.

Last week the two Presidents, Jonathan Holmes of the Alumni and Cassandra Parkinson of ABC Friends, wrote to the Treasurer to argue the case for more ABC funding.

Next week both Presidents will visit Ministers and MPs in Parliament to further argue the case. The Minister and Shadow Minister for Communications, and five leading independents, were visited last month, and next week’s visit will include the Parliamentary Friends of the ABC.

Now is a great time for you to write to the Treasurer and argue for better ABC funding!
