The by election for the federal seat of Aston is about to hot up. The rolls closed last night, and nominations close at 12pm on Thursday 9 March. Polling day is 1 April, so bring on the jokes. It is shaping up to be a close one.
ABC Friends will campaign in Aston, as we did in seats across the country in the May 2022 election. We will be asking candidates their views on the ABC and what role they are prepared to play to ensure its long term sustainability. We will be asking voters to vote for the candidates who are most pro-ABC, to ensure as pro-ABC a parliament as possible.
