Join us at Kew Library for a lively discussion with the Kooyong candidates about the role of media in politics. This event offers a unique opportunity to engage directly and hear their perspectives on how the media shapes public opinion. The discussion will include but not be limited to

• Social media & young people
• The government's role in dealing with mis-and disinformation
• The future of the ABC & SBS
• The closure of local news outlets
• Australian content quotas for international streaming services

Monique Ryan (IND), Clive Crosby (LABOR) & Jackie Carter (GRNS) have confirmed their attendance. Amelia Hamer (LIBS) hopes to attend but we have not yet had a response from Ann Bown Seeley (FAM FIRST)
