The newly established Outer Eastern ABC Friends Group would like to extend a welcome invite to all Victorian ABC Friends members.

Our very own group Convenor, Judith Morrison, is offering to provide an in-person, letter-writing workshop to teach all her tips and tricks for getting a letter published in the newspaper, and for writing to politicians. Some of you may know Judith, who is a prolific, multi-skilled and talented writer, being published weekly, across various publications, especially newspapers.  Some of you may know her as Judith Morrison of Mount Waverley, or Judith Morrison of Nunawading; either way, she is one of the same; a delightful person, with a wealth of experience and abilities she is willing to share.

This workshop will be very practical, non-judgemental, and relevant. We will meet to share a light supper, and then Judith will share examples of her work, explain how to appeal to the reading audience, and most importantly, how to get noticed by newspaper editors so your letter (and its message) is seen.

As members will be aware, the more of us who are able to raise awareness, the more likelihood there is for change.

We would be delighted to see you on the night. Feel free to join us, listen and learn. Also feel free to jump in on the night and have a go, while Judith is there to share feedback and some of her fascinating anecdotes, collected from years of experience.  Everyone is welcome.

Time:    5:00pm- 7:20pm (5:00-6:00pm will be supper and drinks to share. The workshop will commence at 6:00pm, feel free to come at a time that will suit you as we are running a casual format.)

Cost:      Supper to share & drinks if desired between 5:00-6:00pm (if your day or circumstances make this difficult, come anyway, there will be plenty to share)
