A free one-hour+ workshop to help lovers of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) to get the best out of it now that it is focussed on meeting the needs of the new digital generation.

The workshop is for local supporters of the ABC to attend in person, and for supporters from other communities and ABCF groups to attend via Zoom, hosted on Zoom by ABC Friends Victoria.

Your host

Peter Marks has worked on and off for the ABC since the 1990s. Starting in radio as a panel operator, he also worked as a producer and occasional on-air contributor. Most recently, Peter returned to the ABC to work in Digital Network for five years. As a software developer he worked on apps including iview & news. For more than a decade, Peter was part of Fran Kelly’s RN Breakfast show presenting commentary on technology news. Currently Peter talks about technology on Philip Clark’s national Nightlife program.
